Council Discusses Proposed Development West of 75

Anna City Council held a special called meeting on Tuesday night as representatives of Centurion Development Group presented a preliminary concept plan for the proposed Villages of Hurricane Creek development. The development, to be located at the northwest corner of U.S. 75 and FM 455, is viewed by Centurion as an opportunity to develop the area west of U.S. 75.

Villages of Hurricane Creek, touted to be an upscale community with a rural feel, will increase the price point of homes being built in Anna. They will be built by multiple builders, on a variety of larger lots. Plans include an amenity center, the lake on the property will be utilized as a focal point and a trail system will wind throughout the development.

Council also approved the 2013 fiscal year clean audit that was presented at the March 25 meeting by Rod Abbott of LaFollett & Abbott, PLLC.
